1/3に会長の自宅で沖縄そば手打ち会を行いました❣️

ワーキングホリデーVizaでシドニ滞在中の比嘉聖斗君の指導の元、みんなで粉から沖縄そばを作りました✨いっぱい食べたいよね！と欲張ってかなりの量を仕込んでしまったからか、夕方5時にスタートして食べ始めたのは9時半過ぎ…それでも、初めて自分たちで作った手打ちの沖縄そば麺は、ツルツルモチモチでそれはそれは美味しくて、みんなナダグルグル(涙涙)しながら美味しく食べました。

大袈裟じゃなくてですね、私はもう沖縄そばを食べに沖縄へ帰らなくていい、と言うくらい美味しかったと思いました‼️私、結構そばじょーぐー(そば好き)だと思いますが、私の大好きな沖縄そば屋さんと同じ位美味しかった～🤤

ちなみに、沖縄そば手打ちの材料には強力粉が必要になりますが、聖斗君は理想の強力粉に出会うまでになんと5種類もの粉を試したとのこと。4種試しても上手くいかなくて、もう出来ないかも…と思って最後に試した強力粉でやっと出来たらしいです。聖斗君が一生懸命試行錯誤してくれたこの配合と作り方を、これからシドニー沖縄県人会で引き継いでいこうと思います✨🥳Thank you Seito! On January 3rd, we held a hand-made Okinawa soba party at the president Kumiko's house! ❣️

Seito Higa, who is currently staying in Sydney on a Working Holiday Visa, taught us how to make Okinawan noodle from scratch. We started at 5pm and didn't start eating until after 9:30pm, probably because we were greedy and made a huge batch, thinking, "We want to eat a lot!" Even so, our first ever handmade Okinawa soba noodles were smooth, chewy, and incredibly delicious.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it was so good that I no longer feel the need to go back to Okinawa just to eat Okinawa soba! ️ I consider myself quite a soba lover, but this was just as delicious as the Okinawa soba I get at my favorite Okinawa soba restaurant! 🤤

By the way, strong flour is required for hand-made Okinawa soba, and Seito said he tried five different types before finding the perfect flour. He tried four different types but non of them worked, and he thought he might not be able to make it at all but he finally found perfect strong flour at his 5th try. Determination! 👏 Sydney Okinawan Kenjinkai will pass on this recipe and method to next generations, Thank you Seito! ✨🥳
